As offensive and indecent as it seems, we must speak MAGA’s language and use Trump's own tactics against him. Trump has learned to keep the message simple knowing that most people don’t have the time to research the issue. He has learned that if a lie is repeated enough times, some people will believe it. Emotional messages work well. Setting people against each other, even better.

The Epstein Files: Playing Dirty?

By Arnold Reed | September 5, 2025

Ever since the Epstein scandal took its place as a major story of the day, I’ve been hesitant to write about it because, in my opinion, it is not and should not be the primary reason for opposing this administration and its many illegal and anti-American policies and actions. In spite of that hesitation, it’s my belief that members of Indivisible must loudly demand a release of all information in the Epstein files ('the files’), and keep hammering away at Trump’s involvement because it is of utmost importance to Trump’s followers.

Pennsylvania was lost by Kamala Harris in 2024, at least in significant part because of the unfounded and ridiculous fear of ‘transgenderism’ which the Trump campaign endlessly broadcast to that State’s voters. We must not make the similar, reverse mistake of underestimating the importance of the files to those in MAGA.

Many opine that we are being distracted by the Epstein scandal, and normally I would understand and appreciate that concern.  But, times are not normal. Just as Trump and his acolytes have probed and taken negative advantage of vulnerabilities in our system of government, we must now do the same and take full advantage of his vulnerabilities and proven criminality.

We need to expose the mud that Trump and our elected leaders have wallowed in.

Now is not the time for us to take the moral ‘high road’. I haven't figured out exactly how to sling the mud myself, but we must take every opportunity to emphasize the reports of Trump’s ties to Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, and the files provide just such an opportunity.

Now is the time to fight fire with fire. We mustn’t lose sight of the fact that we’re in the fight of our lives for our constitutional republic. We can't let Trump and his cronies take it away from us.
