After a difficult year for our communities and our country, we’re coming together to show what we still stand for. We’ll lift up hundreds of signs naming the values we protect and the future we’re committed to building. Show up. Stand strong. Stay in the fight.

WSI Immigration x Adopt a Corner Meeting
Our WSI Immigration Team will host volunteers from Adopt a Corner, a program supporting day laborers who are at risk of ICE targeting. They run coordinated efforts across several Home Depot locations and organize supply needs and schedules through local Signal chats.
They’ll join us for a Q&A and brainstorming session so we can exchange ideas, ask questions, and explore how our teams can work together.

Workshop: Resisting ICE With Our Community Power and Legal Rights
Join the National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON) in collaboration with attorney, educator, and activist Jay Stansell for an afternoon of conversation, information and connection. This is a training for allies who want to understand the importance of supporting our immigrant neighbors and communities; community members who want to know more about their legal rights, particularly to support family and friends who may be at-risk; and activists who want to feel more emboldened in resisting the burgeoning police state that is terrorizing the most vulnerable among us.

In this time of rising authoritarianism, we are called to deeply understand the political dynamics of the moment we are in, what works in the face of authoritarian power grabs, and how to strengthen our collective courage, imagination, and capacity to act together.
Drawing on open-source training developed by Daniel Hunter and others, this six hour training offers a deep dive into the strategy and practice of noncompliance - how ordinary people can disrupt authoritarian power and grow strength of coordinated resistance.
