This is a nationwide initiative by Visibility Brigade (TWNIndivisible) and Indivisible groups, encouraging people to publicly proclaim "Be brave with us. We'll stand with you.". This message is intended to foster hope and resilience, and to demonstrate solidarity against negativity and division, according to the organizers.
The day involves various activities, including overpass standouts and other community gatherings where people can publicly share the message. The core principle behind Be Brave Day is nonviolent action. It's taking place all over the country, putting up signs on overpasses, but also on public bulletin boards, in front yards, on windshields, etc. Here's the slogan: Be brave with us. We'll stand with you.
We need a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 people for safety! Volunteers on the large banner must have the physical strength to hold it upright in windy conditions as it can get heavy. You may not bring your own signs or carry/wear anything that might blow off onto the roadway. No children, please!
