Please join us Wednesday September 3 from 5:30-7:30 pm at High Point Library (3411 SW Raymond St.) for an interactive, hands-on workshop on bystander intervention during an ICE raid. This is NOT a how-to-intervene session. Instead, Rev. Andrew Conley-Holcomb will lead us in exercises that help participants feel what it might be like to intervene during an ICE action. This will allow people to learn about their own capacity for intervention and to experiment with different approaches in a safe space.
The workshop is sponsored by WSI and our Immigration team. It is offered free of charge to our members. Rev. Conley-Holcom, of Admiral UCC, is a trained conflict resolution workshop facilitator and violence prevention educator. Space is limited. Please sign up here.
