Good Noise! A Noise Maker's Workshop

  • Admiral Hub` 4320 Southwest Hill Street Seattle, WA, 98116 United States (map)

Good Noise, led by members of WSI and Vashon Island Bucket Brigade, is a hands-on, two-part workshop for making joyful, coordinated sound at protests. Our goal is to expand the number of drummers and chanters who will join rallies and signwaving events and make good noise!

Participants are welcome to attend one or both parts of the workshop. Space is limited - sign up here.

Part One: in the first hour we'll build simple 5-gallon "bucket drums" and practice basic rhythms to go with protest chants.  All materials provided, no musical experience required.

Part Two: in the second hour we'll focus on leading effective chants, using your voice safely, and chanting in rhythm with drums to give protests a shared heartbeat.
