Democracy Blooms in West Seattle Parade
Marchers created a festive air to convey a serious message, carrying colorful flower and VOTE signs behind a banner that read, WHEN DEMOCRACY GROWS, WE THRIVE! This theme was echoed in looping chants interspersed with singing “America The Beautiful” and “This Land is Your Land”.

Billionare Bailout Vigil
Sunday morning, more than 80 neighbors gathered at Alki’s Statue of Liberty for a moving and energizing West Seattle Indivisible meet-up following the passage of the BBB. Locals shared heartfelt reflections, resources, and ideas for moving forward together.
NO KINGS Rally and March
In one of the largest protests in Seattle’s history, more than 70,000 people turned out on Saturday for No Kings Day in Seattle, one of more than 2000 events held nationwide to protest President Donald Trump’s authoritarian assaults on democracy, immigrants and the rule of law.
Street Rally for Democracy
An estimated 2000 West Seattle neighbors came out with signs inspired to defend our Constitution, prevent authoritarianism and oligarchy, maintain rights for immigrants and trans people, uphold the rule of law and many other issues.
HANDS OFF! They Came for Democracy and Their Future
The crowds streamed in from West Seattle Saturday. From High Point and Delridge. From Arbor Heights and Alki. From Gatewood and Admiral. They joined throngs of others at the Seattle Center for Seattle Hands Off! It was the largest protest in the city so far against Donald Trump and his policies.
