SHASTI CONRAD
The WA State Democratic Chair & Democratic National Committee Vice Chair will speak to our members December 14th.
It is a true delight to host such a prolific woman as Shasti Conrad, who serves as WA State Democratic Chair & Democratic National Committee Vice Chair, at West Seattle Indivisible on Sunday, December 14th from 3:30-5pm at the Center for Active Living -- 4217 Oregon St. 98116. You are invited to attend!
Vice Chair Conrad is the first South Asian woman to ever lead a state party in the U.S. She has held numerous positions including with the teams & organizations for Malala Yousafzai, Bernie Sanders, and President Barack Obama. She has also led groups that boost voter registration turnout, support the election of Black women to the WA state legislature, and combat modern slavery & child trafficking.
As history will someday report, we demonstrably live in a more precarious era now than in most of our lifetimes. Vice Chair Conrad will help put this period into perspective as we turn our focus to the 2026 midterm elections. She will address the DNC and WA state’s approach to the upcoming 2026 elections, current trends affecting the Democratic party, and how we can have a vital role in the restoration and preservation of our democracy.
Join us on Sunday, December 14th from 3:30-5pm at the Center for Active Living for an interactive afternoon with WA State Democrat Chair and DNC Vice Chair Shasti Conrad!
