COME TO THE JAN 11 MEMBERS MEETING TO LEARN ABOUT HEALTHCARE BILLS IN OUR STATE LEGISLATURE

The uncertainty of healthcare coverage in America is a policy choice, not a foregone conclusion. With federal cuts on the way, Washington healthcare is in crisis. Washington will be one of the states most hard-hit by cuts to healthcare in the coming months. These cuts will force hospital closures, 450,000 residents will lose coverage, and 150,000 people relying on subsidies will be priced out of the exchange – rates double or triple the previous amounts have already been reported.

Two bills in Washington’s House and Senate could bring universal healthcare to Washingon state if enacted.

House Bill 1445 - 2025-26 "Developing the Washington health trust." Click here to read the bill.

Senate Bill 5233 - 2025-26 "Developing the Washington health trust." Click here to read the Senate version.

OUR FIRST MARCH OF 2026 IS JAN 24

This is an opportunity for YOU to join with friends, neighbors, and all who are standing strong against the fascist, authoritarian takeover of our country to make a bold statement … we are STILL STANDING.

This event is family-friendly, the site and march route are accessible, and a safety team is in place … bring your kids, friends, neighbors, and fellow community members to participate together to be loud and visible about what we still stand for. We’ll lift up hundreds of signs (provided) naming the values we protect and the future we’re committed to building.

Let Your Representatives Know How You Feel

On January 2 President Donald Trump ordered an attack on Venezuela and the capture of Venezuelan President Maduro. This attack was done without authorization from Congress.

The Constitution states clearly that war powers belong to Congress—not the President. Since then the President has said he’s considering actions against Greenland, Colombia, and Iran. Please call your representatives and let them know how you feel.
